At Ulster University, I'm an MSc Marketing with Advanced Practice student. even though I enjoy cooking. My mother and grandmother taught me to prefer Asian food, but I've never tried it to advertise it on Google. I initially wondered why I should develop my talents through my curriculum after enrolling in a marketing degree and discovering it. I'd like to present my first blog post here, which is a recipe for paneer chana.
PANEER CHANA RECIPE
I'm going to share a quick and delectable recipe for paneer with chickpeas here. Basmati rice, jeera rice, roti, and garlic naan pair well with this gravy (easily available at Tesco). I frequently cook it when I miss the food from my native country while living in the UK because I can readily find all the ingredients at Tesco or Lidl, making it more simple for me to make these vegan recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Chickpeas or Chana
- 200 gram Paneer (Cheese)
- 2 Red Onions
- 1 Tomato
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 2 cm Ginger
- 2 Spoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 Spoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
- Salt as Needed
- 1 TSpoon Red Chilli Powder
- 1 Spoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 TSpoon Garam Masala Powder
- Coriander leaf ad Oregano for garnishing
Wash and soak chickpeas (Chana) overnight. You can also use pressure cooker, do it on a medium heat for 1 whistle.
Method for
1. Heat the oil in the pan. For one minute, saute the cumin seeds.
2. Include the tomato, onion, garlic, and ginger paste and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, or until it turns brown.
3. Add Salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala. Saute it and after add 1 cup water.
4. Next, it added the cooked chana and the leftover stock. Stir and, if necessary, add more water to change the consistency. When the gravy starts to thicken, cover it and simmer. You can cook semi-dry curry at a medium temperature if you wish.
5. Add paneer and mixed well. After that add coriander leaf and oregano. Stir and cook for just one minutes. Switch off.
6. Add green fresh coriander leaves and served chana paneer with roti, rice ad garlic naan.
